Governor Greg Abbott of Texas ended the mask mandate on March 2 which is Texas Independence Day.
Abbott turned the holiday into Texas Ignorance Day by announcing the mask mandate was over! He also proclaimed businesses could have 100% capacity.
This is a huge mistake because Texas is number 2 behind California in Coronavirus cases and deaths! Different strains of Covid-19 are in the Lone Star State!
Now is not the time to retreat!
Businesses have indicated they will continue to require Masks or Bandanas be worn. That makes sense for business and health.
Please continue to Wear A Mask or Bandana, practice social distancing and limit outings.
